When the network shifts, the decision must stay clear.
Adaptive Humanitarian Logistics Optimization System (AHLOS) is a decision-support architecture being developed for critical supply under disruption.

01 / Founder perspective
The work has a human starting point.
AHLOS is in active technical development. The founder video shares a personal perspective on why the problem matters, how the system concept took shape, and what remains to be proven.
This perspective is not a product demonstration or evidence of operational performance. Public evidence does not imply operational deployment or field validation. The complete company and founder story is available on About AHLOS.

My name is Orlando Navas, founder of AHLOS.
Throughout my career in logistics and operations, including high-pressure and humanitarian environments, I kept seeing the same challenge.
When conditions change quickly, the problem is not always that resources do not exist. Often, the real difficulty is having the right information, understanding what has changed, and coordinating a decision in time.
That experience is what led me to begin developing AHLOS — the Adaptive Humanitarian Logistics Optimization System.
Today, AHLOS is an active technical development project. It already has a working Desktop and Mobile environment, realtime synchronization, and connections to public environmental information sources.
The logistics environment we currently demonstrate is simulated, and decisions remain human-controlled.
We are building AHLOS carefully, testing it, documenting it, and looking for people and institutions who can challenge the work and help us make it better.
Thank you for taking a closer look at AHLOS.
02 / The disruption problem
The plan changes because the ground truth changes.
In a disrupted network, the failure is rarely a single missing shipment. It is the loss of a shared, current picture: demand moves, access closes, data arrives late, and a decision made from yesterday's conditions becomes today's constraint.
AHLOS is designed around that condition. It brings imperfect signals into a decision loop that keeps assumptions visible, alternatives comparable, and authority with the people responsible for the outcome.
Read the technical approach03 / What AHLOS aims to support
A decision layer for the moments when ordinary systems lose context.
See, Compare, Explain and Re-plan describe the intended value of AHLOS as it develops.
See
Assemble a time-aware view of need, supply, access and uncertainty from fragmented inputs.
Compare
Surface alternatives against explicit constraints instead of hiding trade-offs behind a single answer.
Explain
Keep the assumptions, freshness and reasoning behind a recommendation available for review.
Re-plan
Return to the loop when a source, route, demand signal or operating assumption changes.
04 / The system approach
Designed to degrade with the network, not disappear with it.
The proposed approach connects information, context and human review. This is a description of the system in development, not an operational interface.
05 / Intended audiences
Built for organizations that move what cannot wait.
Emergency management
Public agencies coordinating preparedness and response across locations and changing access.
Humanitarian operations
Organizations balancing mandate, supply, access and accountability across complex environments.
Public health logistics
Health systems managing critical stock across sites when reporting and demand are uneven.
Defense sustainment
Organizations exploring decision support for contested or degraded logistics contexts.
These are intended market segments only. No named organization is represented as a client, partner, user, sponsor or endorser of AHLOS LLC.
06 / Synthetic reference environment
A visual language for preparedness, not a live command center.
Readable by design.
Synthetic reference only. No operational data, live connections or actions are present here.
Signals are labelled as illustrative
Review remains human-led
No action is executed here
07 / What can be inspected today
A bounded public surface for technical review.
The public site can show the categories of work being developed without exposing the private demonstrator or the logic that would require protection.
These are inspectable development surfaces and intended design areas, not proof of live operational capability.
Any public reference remains synthetic, human-controlled and non-operational: no live deployment, no field validation and no autonomous execution.
Evidence to date
What internal work has shown so far.
Internal synthetic testing: 100,000+ randomized scenarios with zero violations of tested safety invariants. Desktop and mobile clients synchronized in real time. Live connection to public NOAA/NWS and USGS data sources.
These are internal synthetic testing results only, not field or independent validation. They do not demonstrate operational deployment or performance with an organization's live data.
Current development state
The system is in active technical development.
AHLOS LLC is developing AHLOS internally. It is not deployed, connected to live organizational data, independently validated, or currently piloted. See Notices & Disclosures for the complete status.

Start with the failure mode, not the pitch.
A useful first conversation is specific: what changes, what becomes unavailable, and how a revised plan is made today.
