The AHLOS system / system description
Adaptive Humanitarian Logistics Optimization System (AHLOS)
A decision-support system in active technical development for critical supply under disruption.
Internal / synthetic / illustrativeDefinition
A decision layer for critical supply when context is incomplete.
AHLOS LLC is the company developing AHLOS, the Adaptive Humanitarian Logistics Optimization System (AHLOS).
The system is being developed to help an authorized operator consider shortage, allocation, sourcing, movement and replenishment choices while the surrounding network changes. It is intended to sit across existing sources rather than replace an organization’s systems of record.
Decision loop / six functions
Six functions around one human decision.
Anticipate change
Keep near-term demand, availability and data freshness visible across multiple nodes.
Prioritize under scarcity
Make competing needs reviewable against explicit organizational policy and authority.
Consider sources
Compare primary and alternate sources with qualification and access treated as clear conditions.
Read movement
Consider routes and network links as conditions change, without presenting a single answer as certainty.
Rebalance the picture
Surface how a proposed movement changes the wider set of available positions.
Keep the handoff human
Present assumptions, alternatives and trade-offs for an authorized person to review.
Boundaries
What the AHLOS system is not.
Not autonomous execution
The system is not designed to execute orders, transfers or purchases on its own authority.
Not a system of record
It is intended as a decision layer across existing inventory, health, transport and organizational systems.
Not a live product
The system is in active technical development. The visuals on this site are synthetic references, not operational interfaces.
Not a field-validated result
Internal synthetic engineering testing is not evidence of field performance, institutional validation or a quantified benefit.
Current state
Active technical development, stated plainly.
Work completed to date includes a documented methodology, technical architecture and decision model, a private internal demonstrator, internal reproducible testing of mathematical consistency, and retrospective and synthetic scenario replays for internal synthetic engineering testing.
